Merry Poet is long over due for a spirit-lift. She has been a trooper in sticking this year out with me and whatever non-sense I thought to push into her direction. But she deserves more and the time has come…

Sad but true news. Steve Jobs has left not only Apple, but the world. I can’t say that I am an Apple Fan Girl. Truth be told I did trade in my iPhone for an Android and I LOVE it, but still Jobs did do something amazing to our culture, to the people we are and the way we see the world.
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” Well said Steve, you will be missed.
Sometimes change is all that is left to happen. When a season of life comes to a close and a new one begins. I love that today I had a moment to catch the life around me. That I had the chance to see things happen, rather than let them pass me by… that I have a moment to breathe in life, rather than be wrapped up in it. Life is all around me… and I cannot wait to take mine back.
