I remember when I was a kid growing up in Pennsylvania that the end of summer was always something that I looked forward to. The humid summer days were deadly, and I was quite ready for my clothes to stop looking and feeling as if I had just gone through a car wash. Regardless if school has started or not, I loved fall. In fact I still do. Even here in Utah, as the leaves have already begun to change-up in the canyons; I look forward to the pumpkin pies, candy apples, cooler weather and of course my birthday. What can I say, fall is awesome.
I’ve returned from a whirlwind of a trip to Virginia. I traveled far and wide looking and assessing antiques, and trust me I wasn’t left disappointed. The history, craftsmanship and beauty of their furniture is something that Utah has not been able to deliver me yet. It has left me with only one resort, that of course is to drive a U-haul from Virginia to Utah with all my newly found antiques. Makes perfect sense to me.
So while I enjoy my bitter-sweet home of Utah, I leave you all with the dreamy wonder that is Leesburg Virginia.
